A burn is one SPL token burn you approve in your own wallet. The tokens are destroyed on Solana, not sent to any address, and the app never holds them. Credit lands once the transaction is finalized.

Burns happen only in the app. Never send tokens to the mint address, or to anyone who messages you. Compare the full address: copies with the same name exist.
