Setup is
one line.

Hermit is a remote MCP server. Nothing to install, nothing to run: add the URL once and every project can use it.

claude mcp add --transport http -s user hermit https://usehermit.xyz/mcp
  1. Add the server

Paste the line above into your terminal. -s user makes Hermit available in every project, not just the current folder.

  2. Authenticate once

Run /mcp in Claude Code and pick hermit → Authenticate. The app opens: sign in with GitHub or a Solana wallet (one signed message, not a transaction) and allow access.

  3. Work as usual

The agent loads the project's memory at the start of a session and saves what lasts as it goes. You don't have to ask.

Any MCP client.

Every client uses the same URL: https://usehermit.xyz/mcp. Anything that speaks MCP reads the same memory.

Or plain HTTP.

No MCP? The REST API reads and writes the same memory, with a key from the app. Base URL: https://usehermit.xyz/api/v1
